OOTD: Obsessed A Little?

My obsession with Anthropologie reared it's pretty head yesterday when I visited TWO stores to scope out the sale. And while I was waiting in line at Anthropologie to buy my lovely items, I was also speaking with customer service on my phone to track down a dress. Yes, I do have them on speed dial!

Well, my obsessive tendencies paid off and I scored the Tiny Windows Dress for $30. Since I couldn't find my size in the store, I had to call CS to find it and lucked out because the first store I called had it. I love when that happens! Especially since I've been know to call dozens of stores wasting hours of my time, which let's face it, only feeds into my crazy desire for the said item!

And while I know that CS now offers to find items for you I just can't seem to let them find it for me. I'm afraid they will wait days before getting to my request and then it will be too late and my size will be sold out. So I have to get all the phone numbers and call all the stores myself. And I have to do it right away before I do anything else.

So yes. I think I am obsessed a LOT little. Anyone else with me? ;)

Anyway, so today it's supposed to be HOT so a skirt was an obvious choice for me. I decided to wear one of my summery skirts since Fall is right around the corner and this just might be my last chance.

What I'm wearing...
Anthropologie top, similar here
Nordstrom skirt
Anthropologie Cake Decorator Belt, similar here
Diane von Furstenberg love knot sandals, similar here

I am WAY too much of a control freak to let CS call around for me too - thankyouverymuch but I need to KNOW I have one on it's way to me as quickly as possible! Glad you found your dress, what a steal at that price! You look adorable today, that is a great print on your skirt - very Jessica!

The skirt is beautiful. I like how you paired the skirt with the blue top; totally different color and texture, but it worked!

Anthro on speed dial...now that's something I need to do too! I'm glad that you were able to score the Tiny Windows dress. I think it will look gorgeous on you!

I love your outfit today. The combination of the patterned skirt and blue are really nice.

I think you and I were seperated at birth Jessica! I too visited two Anthro stores yesterday and called to track down a dress. I also called CS this morning to track something down and did the same thing when she offered to locate the dress and do a charge and send! I asked for the store #'s myself and called - by the time they get around to it, it will be gone! LOL.
Clearly I'm obsessed too ;-)
You look lovely today -that skirt is gorgeous!

Your Anthro obsession story made me giggle! I am similar -- I decided that I NEEDED the Scribbled Bouquet cardigan, and online stock was low. As soon as I left work, I called around and found one at the Princeton store. I asked them to hold it for me...even though the store is literally .002 miles from my work. You never know!

I got that and the In a Twinkling dress. That was an impulse purchase, but I am delighted by it! Hooray!

You sound like my sis. Maybe if I had more time I'd be obsessed too. For now, I'm amused by your diligence. Love that skirt. The colors make it seem perfect for fall too? At least, that's how my brain works.

I would totally wear that skirt in the fall and winter with some tights and boots. Why hide it once summer is over?

You look fantastic in this outfit! I really adore that skirt!

Oh, I totally have to do the leg work myself to know that every possibility of finding an item is covered! Totally understand! Congrats on finding the items you wanted! You look super cute today--love the skirt!

Anthro obsessed FREAK here. My friends don't get it. They don't. My mom has finally started to "get it" and now will ask about the Anthro sale every Tuesday when I meet her for lunch looking exhausted. lol.

You know- CS has NEVER been helpful to me what so ever. I don't want to speak negatively about them, but I've had the worst luck with them. For example: this week I missed the Eyeleted islands dress in my size and also wanted the yellow Vappu dress. I stalked online, called CS three or four times...nothing anywhere. So I got a tip to call a store in Cali. (I'm in bama)- They had BOTH dresses in the size I needed. WTH? I don't get it. How did the CS (which I called the last time about an hour BEFORE calling this store) not see EITHER of these dresses? This is a serious, and not a sarcastic, question. I'm sure it has something to do with inventory, etc, but COME ON! haha

I'm right with you girl. I'm still debating on whether I need to track down the two-wheeler dress. I keep trying to resist but I have a feeling it's not going to last that long. Very cute outfit! I love the skirt.

Obsessed? Um, does it count that my local Anthro store AND Anthro CS are both in my cell phone contacts? It's not quite speed dial, but that's an idea I hadn't thought of yet! And I too have never done a charge-send. Give me the #'s and I'll call the stores myself, thankyou very much. There's almost nothing I've tried to get my hands on this way that I haven't been able to track down!

I agree. I was burned once by having CS track down an item for me. After not hearing anything for over a week, i called back to find out the request was never processed! I quickly realized I needed to take the bull by the horns and take care of my own sale hunting!

I didn't hit two in one day, but I did hit two over the weekend and called a store in Cali to get a dress shipped to me. I know your pain/addiction!
