Sarah's House - The Kids Bedrooms

I am obsessed with HGTV's Sarah's House and have taken to recording every single episode. Let's take a look at the kids bedrooms shall we. Sarah and her "design sidekick" Tommy, take on renovating these and Sarah decides that it would be best for them to do one room each, she takes on the girls and Tommy designs the boys. The idea was to work independently but they each had a little help from each other. In my mind, the boys room was the clear winner.

The headboard fabric was Sarah's inspiration for this room. I love the color scheme but I think that a lighter paint color would have brightened up the space.

{the BOYS room}

Love the barn board ceiling! And the moulding and two tone paint really take the room from a square box to an architecturally interesting space. The fern fabric used for the drapes was Tommy's jumping off point.

Stay tuned next week, we'll take a look at the entry and mudroom!

High ceilings add such character to any room. These are amazing!
